VTE is a Significant Health Issue and Burden on the Health System

Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a serious and potentially life-threatening condition that includes deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). These blood clots often go undetected due to misdiagnosis of symptoms and low awareness, and can put a significant burden on the health system.
